Smartmaids Group (Smart Maids) is a recruitment company based at The Mirage Towers in Westlands, Nairobi. We connect Kenyan domestic workers — housemaids, house help, nannies, Arabic cooks, home drivers, caregivers and home tutors — with households, employers and recruitment partners in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, the wider UAE, Qatar and Bahrain.
We manage each placement as one clear process: application and screening, matching candidates to employer requirements, visa processing and documentation, travel, and support after the worker starts. Workers and employers deal with one team throughout.
Smartmaids Group is registered with Kenya’s National Employment Authority (NEA), the body that regulates overseas recruitment from Kenya. In the Gulf we work with registered Tadbeer centres in the UAE, regulated maid recruitment centres in Qatar and manpower centres in Bahrain.

Recruitment and screening
- Application review and initial screening (2–3 business days)
- Skills and training verification, carried out in our office
- Personality and cultural compatibility assessment
- References from previous employers
- Required documents: passport, Police Clearance Certificate and Medical Examination Certificate
- Matching candidates to employer requirements, including experience and age range
